Till Rabus (b. 1975, Neuchâtel, Switzerland) is a painter known for meticulously rendered oil paintings that sit somewhere between hyperrealism and surrealism. His subjects range from fast food, discarded packaging and children's toys to fragments of the human body, which he assembles into playful, unsettling and occasionally morbid compositions. Beneath their seductive surfaces, the works carry a critical undertone on overconsumption, waste and the objectification of the body. He is the brother of painter Léopold Rabus, with whom he has exhibited regularly. Rabus has had solo exhibitions at the Musée des beaux-arts, La Chaux-de-Fonds (2024), the Musée d'histoire naturelle, Neuchâtel (2022) and the Fondation Salomon, Annecy (2018), and has taken part in group exhibitions at MO.CO., Montpellier (2023), Design Museum Holon (2022), Kunsthal Charlottenborg, Copenhagen (2021), the Weserburg Museum, Bremen (2016) and MONA, Tasmania (2014). He is represented by Galerie Lange + Pult (Zurich/Geneva/Auvernier) and Aeroplastics Contemporary, Brussels, and lives and works in Neuchâtel. In October 2026, TORCH Gallery presents a solo exhibition of his work, shown alongside a concurrent solo exhibition by Léopold Rabus.
