TORCH gallery (Lauriergracht 94, 1016 RN Amsterdam, Chamber of Commerce 33161498) is responsible for the processing of personal data via this website. Questions about your data: info@torchgallery.com.

What we collect and why

• Contact form and artwork enquiries: your name, email address and message, so we can reply to you.
• Newsletter: your email address (and name, if given), to send you news about exhibitions, fairs and events. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every newsletter.
• Purchases in the webshop and invoices: name, address and contact details needed to process your order, deliver the work, issue an invoice and meet our legal obligations. Payments are handled by Stripe; we do not see or store your card details.

We do not sell your data and do not use it for anything other than the purposes above.

Who processes data for us

• Sanity (content and customer administration), Vercel (hosting of this website), Resend (sending emails from this website), Mailchimp (newsletter), Stripe (online payments), our email provider, Google Analytics (website statistics, only with your permission).
• Bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile): to keep our forms free of automated abuse, we use Cloudflare Turnstile on the contact form and on artwork enquiries. It runs invisibly; to determine whether a submission comes from a person, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address and characteristics of your browser and device. This is used only to detect abuse, not for advertising, and no profile of you is built. See Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Addendum.

Cookies and visitor statistics (Google Analytics)

With your permission we use Google Analytics 4 to see how this website is used: which pages are visited, how visitors arrive, and on what kind of device. Nothing is measured until you press "Accept" in the cookie notice; if you choose "Only necessary", no Google script is loaded and no Google cookie is set. Your choice is stored for one year in a cookie named cookie_consent. You can change or withdraw it at any time via the cookie choice on this page, or by clearing your browser cookies for this website.

Your IP address is anonymised before it reaches Google, and every option to share this data with Google for their own products, advertising or benchmarking is switched off. We do not combine it with your customer record. Apart from that, the website only uses functional cookies needed for it to work, such as for the shopping cart.

How long we keep data

Enquiries: as long as needed to handle your question and follow-up contact. Orders and invoice data: 7 years, as required by Dutch tax law. Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, or object to its use, by emailing info@torchgallery.com. You also have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
